1:35 pm - Music related, interest gained
Step 1: Open up whatever MP3 program you use and add every song in your collection.
Step 2: Put it on random.
Step 3: Pick random lyrics from the first 10 songs, no matter how embarassing the song.
Step 4: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 5: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly.

1) Its the last laugh of the laughter, Sur la dernier page du chapitre

2) I've seen the demons, but they didn't make a sound. They tried to reach me, but I lay upon the ground

3) I don't see myself when I look in the mirror, I see who I should be. I don't see myself when I look in your eyes, Thank God for that

4) It's coming home, It's coming home, Football's coming home...

5) I bring you plates from rome, You say they look fantastic. I say were having fun, Nothing like that italian plastic

6) Back with another one of those block rockin' beats

7) All I want is a room with a view, A sight worth seeing, a vision of you

8) Don't hold on, Go get strong, or don't you know there's no modern romance

9) It's a Motherfucker, Being here without you

10) I go out in the city, I stay away from the bugs

I love picking through song lyrics, I could have done that for hours.

The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to the First Level of Hell - Limbo!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)Very High
Level 2 (Lustful)Low
Level 3 (Gluttonous)Moderate
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Very High
Level 7 (Violent)Moderate

8:59 pm - quote of the CENTUARY
"Music people are always on the radio talking about their equipment. It's like listening to someone talk about their car or something. If a plumber came around to mend your toilet and started telling you about his spanner, like, 'Yeah, I've had this spanner for about 20 years' you'd say, 'Shut up, you boring bastard'".

6:01 pm - pinched from mosey
This looks interesting.

Put your media player on random. Read the first question aloud as you start playing it. The song that's playing is the answer! Skip to the next track to answer question 2, and use that as an answer, and so on and so forth.

1. How does the world see you?
Manic Street Preachers: Kevin Carter (The photographer that commited suicide? What does that mean?)

2. Will I have a happy life?
Ocean Colour Scene: One For The Road (Thats a nice song, I'm happy with that. Interestingly, that was the song that was put on that girl's gravestone)

3. What do my friends think of me?
Radiohead: Ripcord

4. Do people secretly lust after me?
Smashing Pumpkins: Try Try Try

5. How can I make myself happy?
Nirvana: Something In The Way ( :/ )

6. What should I do with my life?
Keane: Bend And Break (I should bend things and break things? Demolition work?)

7. Will I ever have children?
Smashing Pumpkins: 1979

8. What is some good advice for me?
Red Hot Chili Peppers: Soul To Sqeeze (Interesting)

9. How will I be remembered?
Foo Fighters: Stacked Actors (Also interesting)

10. What's my signature dancing song?
The Clash: London Calling (Hehe.)

11. What's my current theme song?
Supergrass: Bullet (Not a bad theme tune, actualy)

12. What do others think is my current theme song?
Razorlight: Leave Me Alone

13. What shall they play at my funeral?
Nirvana: Come as you are

14. What type of women do I like?
Jeff Buckly: Lilac wine

15. How's my love life?
Snow Patrol: Whatever's Left (The lyrics are eerily appropriate)

Make of any of that what you will.

**Basic Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 wierd habits of yours" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 quirky habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.**

1. When I press my thumb against my forefinger on either hand, the joints click loudly. I do that a lot, to most other people's disgust.
2. Also, give me a hard object or surface and I will tap my thumb and middle finger on it. I just can't help it.
3. I'm right handed, but I always eat with a fork in my right hand and a knife in my left
4. I'm an advanced maths student, but the little things slow me down. In a maths test I had today I breezed through it, but had to stop and count on my fingers every time I hit '4x6'. It can be very frustrating
5. I WILL forget your name. I'm not being insensitive, I just can't remember names to save my life.

Tagging: SHJ, Cerb, Fenix, and Atla.

You Are Brownie Batter Ice Cream

You've been known to lick *everything* clean

You Are Cream Pie

You're the perfect combo of simplicity and divinity
Those who like you life for understated pleasures

Your Eyes Should Be Violet

Your eyes reflect: Mystery and allure

What's hidden behind your eyes: A quiet passion

My 6th form had their open evening yesterday, and I was prompted to come, since I'm interested in going through to 6th form. The whole thing was very enlightening and because of it I have chosen the subjects I will choose for the next two years.

Dropping photography, I'm going to take Psychology, Further Maths and English Language. Any opinions?

10:59 pm - METEOS ARE RAINING DOWN! MOVE THEM UP AND DOWN! FLY METEOS FLY!
I'm back! Let the festivities re-commence!

Wales was funky, as always.

Late christmas presants:

-A really really awsome neon union-jack clock in the shape of a guitar
-A portable CD player
-A hell of a lot of poker chips. Now I have an excuse to learn to play poker.

There is something strangely entrancing about Meteos for the DS. I've found my dreams the past week to be plagued by visions of falling colours, and the matching thereof. If someone told me tomorrow that Meteos had reached cult status, I would belive them. Another thing, although there are about 40 diffrent planets to unlock (and its damn hard, I've only unlocked half of them in the time it normaly takes for me to pulverise a new game) the defult planet has the coolest populace. No arguments.

Oh, and before I forget. Happy new year, and many of them! Viva 2006!!

Todays shopping spree earnt me Final Fantasy X, Tales of Symphonia, Meteos, R.E.M.: Automatic for the people and Radiohead: the bends, at the cost of... well, all my money. Oh well, It would have gone the same way eventualy anyway. I also picked up a memory card for my sister's now PS2.

Having played X for about 4 or 5 hours, I'm taking a break to do a bit of drawing and, if time and fatigue permits, try out me new scanner.

9:12 pm - Y-Mas (My new name for boxing day)
The time is ripe to join the christmas present brag-fest.

My gifts recived include:
- A nirvana shirt
- A Mutley (from wacky racers) shirt
- A 'Born to hunt dinosaurs' shirt (from nuklearpower.com)
- £75 towards my drumkit
- 'Drums- for dummies'
- Plenty of chocolate
- This realy neat hat that has headphones sewn into the inside
- A new scanner
- A watch
- Foo Fighters- The colour and the shape
- Foo Fighters- Theres nothing left to lose
- A wall-mounted CD display case
- Ender's Game (I asked my Dad what this book was about, and he figured I wanted it. My Dad has an ungodly access to every book ever published. Just give him the name of a book and he'll send his flying monkeys to fetch it or something)
- 'The definative guide to fads and crazes' (The book was given to me bent open on the 'fingerless gloves' page. I think someone is trying to tell me something)
- A whole load of bizzare, random presents, incluing a jar of olives, a coronation street DVD (I don't even watch coronation street), a talking bottle opener, some peanut butter and a jar of chutney.

So, nothing to scream about this year, but I was mellow considering I'd just baught myself a £300 drumkit. My sister got a PS2, and she left it with me while she's gone for the rest of the holidays. If I can find a copy of Final Fantasy X I'll be sold until new year's. I didn't get the import copy of FFIV advance I asked for, so that'll just have to be added to my long list of spring UK release games I want (all games you lucky yanks got for chrimbo). Looks like I'll be videogame money for my birthday, then...

presents given:
- My sister: an inflatable punching bag
- My Mam: a box of shortbread and a plush zippy (the yellow one from rainbow, with a zip for a mouth. Some of you may recognise it from that dirty video that was circulating the internets a while ago)
- My Dad: a jigsaw of all the Beatles vineal covers.

current mood: Post-christmas weriness
current music: Radiohead: Karma police
